Founder and CEO Cami Téllez aims to “rewrite the American underwear story” by providing extraordinarily soft and comfortable underwear. Available in various stylish colors, styles, and textures, all the underwear Parade offers is made from recycled fabric.

ModSet Jewelry

ModSet Jewelry is a women-run handcrafted jewelry business based in Sarasota, Florida. A branch from Modern Settings, this Asian women-run small business has 70 years of trust and experience on its side. They offer gorgeous, affordable jewelry, with everything designed and created in-house. ModSet specializes in wearable messages, but has an incredible inventory of products that fit every style and personality.

Pink Moon

CEO and founder Lin Chen launched Pink Moon in 2017 to celebrate her Chinese heritage. Though it launched with a gua sha tool and face oil, it quickly became an online oasis of female-founded self-care, wellness, and lifestyle brands that inspire sustainable living.

Pink Moon has everything you need when it comes to beauty and self-care, from candles to body oils and more. Plus, 30% of the brands she supports are founded by women of color.

BaubleBar

Amy Jain and Daniella Yacobovsky co-founded BaubleBar, a pair who turned their business school project into a successful brand sought-after by women and celebrities alike. BaubleBar has an exciting collection of colorful jewelry that provides affordable options to women who want to keep up with the latest trends. In addition, with every sale of earrings, rings, necklaces, and bracelets, the brand donates 10% to Baby2Baby, a nonprofit company that advocates and supports women and their children.

Avaline

You’ve likely heard of this brand, as it was co-founded by Cameron Diaz and Who What Wear co-founder Katherine Power. A clean wine brand, Avaline strives to bring a new standard of transparency to the wine industry. Their label is vegan and non-GMO, offering wine made from organic grapes grown in sustainable vineyards in France and Spain without added concentrates, colors, or sugars.

When you want to add an extra level of sophistication (and deliciousness!) to your next girls’ night or event, try stocking up on a few bottles of Avaline.

Awe Inspired

Awe Inspired is a jewelry brand created by Jill Johnson and her son Max in 2017. Their pendant designs include detailed portrayals of iconic women from the past, present, and mythology. Icons include Ruth Bader Ginsburg (a best-seller), Harriet Tubman, Frida Kahlo, Joan of Arc, Florence Nightingale, and many others.

Awe Inspired has gained a lot of attention in recent years, with a surprising number of female celebrities who have proudly worn the brand’s pendants.

Peak + Valley

Nade Joseph created Peak + Valley, a Seattle-based company, after extensively researching the neuroscience of stress. This wellness brand features herbal blends that try to harness the power of natural medicinal products like ashwagandha and reishi. Dealing with her own stress and anxiety, she sought to discover some of the benefits of adaptogens on the adrenal system.

This company started with just three specifically formulated products to decrease stress, support brain health, improve immune function, and promote healthy skin.

Final Words

Though it’s great that we have Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, we think that every day can provide opportunities to celebrate the social, cultural, economic, and political achievements of women worldwide. Apart from donating to female-focused charities or raising awareness about equality (or lack thereof), the easiest way you can support women is to spend money on local women-run businesses.

Hopefully, we’ve given you a few places you’ll love, or at least inspire you to do some research yourself. Happy shopping!
